What Turns Him Off - 7 Surprising Facts You Need To Know

There are a few things every woman ought to know about the man she is trying to be with. For example, not every man will come right out and tell his woman how he feels at times. When in reality, the way she acts around him could actually be driving a silent wedge between the two of you.

Consider the following negative traits things that the two of you can both improve on, that will ultimately bring you closer.

1. When You RSVP For Him:

We all know how convenient and downright cool it is to have your man by your side for a specific event, rather than going solo. However, if you constantly RSVP for your man without him knowing and without even asking, this could really cause some issues.

Think of how it would feel to come home from a long week at work and ready to bask in relaxation for the weekend, when your boyfriend tells you he has already made plans with his entire family.

That was only one example but nonetheless, show some courtesy and ask before you make plans on his behalf.

2. If You 'Over-Think' The Future:

Try not to think too much about how your relationship might look, feel, and sound years down the road. If you focus too much on what is to come next, you will miss out on the most important memories of today.

3. By Getting Meticulous:

For those of you out there who are perfectionists and over-achievers, this is great - but don't let it go to your head. If you obsess too much over the little things in life, you will inevitably irritate yourself and never be satisfied with what you've already earned.

4. Not Being Appreciative:

Men work hard for what they have and what they've earned in life. Just because he doesn't get overly romantic or shower you with gifts does not mean he doesn't care about the relationship.

Acknowledge the small things he does; such as the way he fixed the leaky faucet, helped you in the house with the groceries, and every single hug and kiss he bestows upon you.

He will be more likely to do these kinds of things and much, much more - if you took the time to acknowledge his actions and appreciate his efforts.

5. If You Scoff at Chivalry:

Men really appreciate feeling valued within a relationship. He wants to feel comforted with the fact that he makes you happy and can make you feel comfortable and secure in his presence.

So when he does the sweet little things like open the door for you, offer his hand to help you down the hillside, or even offer you his jacket when the weather gets cold - don't laugh or snicker at his attempts, no matter how cliché they may seem.

He is being a gentlemen and would appreciate your kindness in return.

6. Don't Devalue His Friends:

He may have been friends with them for years before you even entered his existence, so don't expect him to dump them just like that because he is with you now.

It is perfectly normal to have friendships and experiences outside of the relationship (so long as there is a healthy unity between the two of you). This works both ways, respect each other's friends and you will both be a lot happier!

7. Valuing Your Friends Over Him:

Again, this should work both ways. If you spend too much time hanging out with your friends instead of the person your in a relationship with; that could really take a significant toll on its long-term success.

A good rule of thumb is to do things in moderation, enjoy the people and the places that you love both with your beau, as well as outside of the relationship, and encourage that he do the same.
