Why Do Guys Go Cold After the First Date - The Biggest Reasons Why They Do a 180-Degree Turn

Guys are often most interested in a woman during the first few dates. But if the first date wasn't such a success, then he would surely turn cold. So what makes the first date such a disaster that some men don't want to see the girl once more?

Some men feel that the chase was cut short.
Perhaps he felt that you should have made him pursue you a bit longer. But when you suddenly said yes on his invite, then he felt that you were too easy. The only way that you could make him believe that there's still some amount of pursuit going on is to don an appearance of mystery.

Everything went wrong during your first date.
What could have been a romantic date turned into a market-like setting with all the people talking at the top of their lungs. Perhaps the food that you ordered made his stomach churn; perhaps the air conditioning wasn't too good; or there are so many other factors that could make your date a total wreck.

Sex happened soon after.
If you gave yourself away on the first date, then you probably couldn't blame the man if he'll think that you do this all the time. This is why it's important to maintain your distance during the first few dates so that he will get to know you as a person before getting physically intimate.

You blabbed on about you, you, and guess what - more of YOU.
This man probably spent hours listening to you and your life's achievements. Hey, you have to remember that he probably has achievements and other information that he wants to share, too. dating should be a give and take process, where the pleasure should come from both partners.

Your date burned a hole in his pocket.
He could have been turned off by the fact that you let him pay for everything during your date. Even if he was the one who asked you out, that doesn't give you the right to let him pay for every cent that you both splurged. Split the cost with the guy and he'll surely be impressed.

You discussed exclusive dating way too soon.
The first date isn't the proper moment to discuss commitment or exclusive dating! This is just the gateway, so to speak. Never pressure him to get into a commitment with you on the very first date. This would surely scare any man away!

His expectations of you weren't met.
Perhaps his friends talked highly of you that he expected too much. His friends might have said you looked gorgeous, yet in his taste, you're not. Ouch, you might say. But if a guy is dismayed in any way, he will surely not prolong his agony.
