For some people, getting back with their ex is an easy thing to do. You know the type of person I'm taking about. They have a clear desire in their minds that they want to reconcile and before you know it, the both of them are walking down the street again hand in hand as if nothing had ever happened. However, not all people are as sure or as confident as that picture I just painted. A lot end up worried and clueless as to how, when, and where to start getting back with their ex.
If you need a morale boost or shot in the proverbial arm to get your ex back, try the following suggestions. You might find them very handy as you go along:
1. Use a song to tell her how you feel
If you are tongue-tied as to what to say to your ex, use a very meaningful song to convey your message. If you're a good singer, you can sing the song yourself. If not, you can have somebody else do it who you know has some talent in that area. Or you can simply play it off your phone or media player. You can also share the song on his or her email or social networking account. Just don't forget to put in the proper dedication.
2. Text your heart away
You can use text messages to tell your ex how you really feel. If words escape you if you're face to face with your ex, use the SMS feature of your phone instead. Things can get better if you type your sentiments instead of saying them face to face. You can edit and change words as you go along. You can rephrase yourself until your message reflects exactly how you feel. You can also process your emotions as you go along with the conversation. You can stop and think of the best way to answer. These are the advantages of using a text message in patching things up with your ex. Although not an ideal solution for everyone, with a text message, you will almost always come up with the right things to say because you're not being held back by the usual nerves in a face to face meet up.
3. Ask help from a common friend
If you think that the likelihood of getting back with your ex is low, have somebody else on your team to assist you. Get a friend who can help you patch things up if you feel you need or would otherwise benefit from some external help. Find a common friend, more ideally the best or a close friend of your former partner, to help you get back with your ex. But be careful. It's always wise to make sure before you do this that they are on your side and have your interests at heart. If you don't, it's just possible that you may find them siding with your ex and making your problems worse than what they originally were to begin with. All I'm saying here is proceed with caution and know who your true friends are if you want to get your ex back successfully.
